Will Micelli came in last week to show to talk to us about communicating. He showed a video he made for his company using drawings and narration to communicate an idea to consumers. He offered to help us make a video to communicate our understanding of the inequalities that still exist in the world, following our learning of Black History and the contributions so many individuals have made on behalf of civil and human rights.
We brainstormed a half a dozen or so examples of racism and inequality in the world. The students worked in self-selected groups based on their interests and came up with visuals and scripts to communicate their thinking. Will came in on Thursday to film the groups, then edited the video to create this video:
A huge thank you to Will for helping these students communicate so compellingly!
